Welcome

Dear students,

this block of practicum as part of the UAB Speech Therapy programme aims to improve your clinical knowledge of dysphagia, as well as its complications, diagnosis and treatment from an interdisciplinary point of view, focusing on your role as speech therapists in this field.

The practicum will consist of 25 hours of online practice focused on dysphasia, learning from the different professionals who are part of a hospital and multidisciplinary dysphasia team. The block will last from 10 February to 26 May 2025.

We hope you enjoy and learn a lot from this internship with the digestive motility team of the Hospital de Mataró, and that you are as enthusiastic as we are to share our experience.

Click on the ‘Moodle’ button on the right side of this page to access the Moodle where you will find the material for each week’s practicum.
